This site is dedicated to the memory of Jim.
Jim was born in Gardner on December 29, 1929. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.We found a handwritten copy of this poem tucked in with Jim’s special papers. We know that he wanted us to share it with you today.

Today, the Heritage State Park Visitors Center in Gardner re-opened and GALA had an art show of Gardner scenes. We entered your pen and inks and your "Onset of Offset", Pres. Teddy Roosevelt visting Gardner, and Historic South Gardner pieces were displayed!!! There was a jazz band playing and they played a song that was a tribute to father's...it had a trombone solo and we couldn't help but think of you...Love you and miss you

Tomorrow will be our first Father's Day without you Daddy. We can't imagine what the day will be like without you there to celebrate with!! We hope you are at peace and we send all our love forever and ever. We miss you more each day. The world and our lives are not the same without you.
